FAQ’s
Planning a trip should feel exciting, not overwhelming. These are some of the questions clients ask most often before we begin working together. I'm always happy to talk through it personally.

Travel has never been more accessible, yet finding the right option can often feel overwhelming. The challenge is knowing which options are genuinely right for you.
As your private travel designer, I take the time to understand what you are truly looking for from your time away. From destination recommendations and accommodation selection through to flights, experiences, where to go at what time of year, personal requirements and practical details, every element is carefully considered and tailored to your needs.
I work directly with a trusted global network of hotels, villas, ski chalets, safari lodges, destination and experiential specialists and on-the-ground partners, many of whom I have known professionally for years. This provides access to first-hand knowledge, trusted recommendations and experiences that are not always visible through online booking platforms.
Through my partnership with 360 Private Travel and membership of leading luxury travel networks, I also have access to preferred rates, exclusive experiences and additional benefits that are often unavailable when booking independently.
In addition to working directly with private clients, I regularly work alongside Personal Assistants, Executive Assistants, Private Family Offices and Corporate Events Teams. Acting as a trusted extension of your team, I support coordinating complex travel arrangements, multiple travellers, and bespoke requirements.
Most importantly, you have a dedicated point of contact and support team throughout the process, from the initial planning stages through to your return home.
My role is simple: to help you make the most of your time away.
-
I specialise in worldwide luxury travel, including family holidays, private villas, ski holidays, multi-generational trips, corporate travel, special celebrations and tailor-made itineraries.

Initially, we book a conversation, either in person, over the phone or via Zoom. This is when I hear about your plans, why you're looking to go away, and what you're hoping to experience from your time away.
If you're based in South Devon or visiting the Salcombe area, I'm also happy to meet in person at the Thurlestone Hotel, a setting many clients enjoy for an informal conversation away from the day-to-day.
From there, you can decide if you'd like to go ahead with my service, and I'll invoice you for the planning fee.
This is where the real work begins. I'll provide you with options and itinerary ideas, and together we'll refine and feedback, adjusting the details until you're happy to proceed.
Once the accommodation, and flights if required, are secured, we move on to the bespoke concierge arrangements and planning.
To secure your accommodation, a deposit is usually required, with the final balance due approximately 12 weeks before departure. However, this will depend on your travel dates and the supplier's booking terms and conditions.
If flights are included, I'll need the full names of all passengers exactly as they appear on their passports.
Before you travel, you’ll receive all your confirmation documents, pre-depature material, vouchers and receipts on email and stored in your secure, personal guest portal which you’ll be able to access throughout your stay.

Yes. If you have already chosen your destination and hotel, I can often arrange your stay through my preferred partner network, which may provide additional benefits not available when booking directly or through online travel websites.
Depending on the property and availability, these may include complimentary breakfast, hotel credits, room upgrades, early check-in, late check-out and personalised VIP recognition.
If you have a hotel in mind, please get in touch and I will be happy to confirm what benefits may be available for your stay.

The planning fee covers destination research, bespoke itinerary design, supplier coordination, price and contracting negotiations (where applicable), revisions, concierge arrangements management, and support before, during, and after your trip. It reflects the time and expertise involved in creating a highly personalised journey.

Yes, absolutley! I’m available throughout your trip, and along with my trusted local partners, we will be able to assist you where needed throughout your stay. I’d rather hear from you whilst you are away, where I can continue to support you, than when you are back and I’ve missed the opportunity to give you the additional support you need.
