If you haven't booked your summer holiday yet, there is still time

The Cliffhanger Master Room, Six Senses, Ibiza

Every year I speak to people who assume they've left it too late, but the reality is that many exceptional holidays are still available. The key is knowing where to look and having access to the right network of partners and properties.

While some of the most sought-after villas, suites, and family accommodation were reserved months ago, opportunities remain across Europe and beyond. In many cases, flexibility with dates, airports, or even considering a destination you may not have initially thought of can open up some wonderful possibilities.

The summer travel season is well underway, but cancellations, newly released inventory, and longstanding industry relationships often create opportunities that aren't always visible through a simple online search.

For example, Six Senses Ibiza is currently offering 15% off new bookings for stays until 15 October 2026. Set on Ibiza's quieter northern coast, it's a wonderful option for those looking to combine Mediterranean sunshine with a more relaxed and restorative pace.

Delos Pool, Zannier Ile de Bendor, Zannier Hotels

Another exciting recent addition is Zannier Île de Bendor, which opened in May 2026 following a five-year restoration of the private island of Bendor. Just seven minutes by boat from the charming Provençal town of Bandol, it offers a rare combination of island seclusion and easy access to the vineyards, villages and landscapes of Provence. For August stays, guests can currently enjoy 25% savings on bookings of three nights or more.

Grecotel Corfu Imperial, Corfu Greee

For those looking for a classic Mediterranean family holiday, I also love the Grecotel Imperial in Corfu. There is still availability this summer, and Corfu remains one of my favourite destinations at this time of year, with its beautiful coastline, relaxed atmosphere, and wonderful mix of Greek hospitality and culture.

The Imperial strikes a rare balance between style and ease. It feels elegant without being formal, with guests dressing up for dinner while children spend carefree days by the beach and pool. Despite its size, the resort retains a warmth and character that can often be lost in larger properties.

Dining is a particular highlight, with everything from fresh seafood and barbecue evenings to Italian favourites, sushi, and generous options for families. Thoughtful additions such as the gelateria and mini-market make it especially easy for those travelling with children, while the spacious setting allows everyone to find their own rhythm, whether that's family time together or a quiet corner to unwind.

If you're still considering time away this summer, now is the moment to start planning. The best options may not stay available for long, but there is still plenty of time to create a memorable holiday with the right guidance and support.
